Choosing to embrace and celebrate my uniqueness is scary. It would be so much easier to be like other people instead of wrestling with my insecurities and daring to be myself. And it would be safer to copy other people’s designs instead of exploring my own creativity and imagination. Because this voice in my head tells me I’m not good enough, and why would people want to buy anything I made?!
Ugh, imposter syndrome! 😒 That voice is loud, but I try to ignore it. Each time I sit down to make something I choose to be myself and to trust in my own creativity, instead of comparing myself to and trying to be like others!
And whenever someone buys something that I’ve made, that risk pays off. Every one of your orders reaffirms the choices I’m making to be myself, and it makes it that little bit easier to be brave the next day. So thank you! ♥️♥️♥️
